Some life pivots aren’t planned.
They often come after a period of exhaustion, reflection, or that quiet feeling that the life you’re living just isn’t quite aligned anymore. That was the case for Michelle.

Burnout became the turning point

After years working as an executive assistant in London, Michelle experienced burnout — something many high‑performing professionals quietly push through while keeping everything moving. But instead of continuing on that path, Michelle chose to pause and look for something different.

That’s when she turned to mindfulness. Developing her own mindfulness and meditation practice helped Michelle slow down, reconnect with herself and find a calmer, more balanced way of living. What started as something personal soon became something bigger.

Building Mindfully Stronger

She realised how powerful these practices could be for others too.

Today Michelle has stepped away from corporate life and is building Mindfully Stronger, a business focused on helping people feel calmer, clearer and more grounded through mindfulness and meditation.

I actually had the privilege of designing Michelle’s logo and building her landing page website recently as she first started her journey, and it’s such a pleasure to watch her business begin to grow and take shape.

Creating space for women to breathe

Her work is centred around creating space, something many of us struggle to find in busy lives.

Michelle runs women’s circles, gentle and supportive gatherings where women can pause, reflect, share experiences and simply take a breath away from the constant noise of daily life. She also offers guided meditation sessions and is beginning to bring mindfulness workshops into workplaces, helping people manage stress in practical ways.

And there’s more to come.

Michelle is currently developing an eight‑week mindfulness course, designed to help people bring simple mindfulness practices into everyday life so they can feel calmer, more resilient and more present.

What makes Michelle’s work so powerful is that it comes from real experience. She understands what it feels like to be overwhelmed and burnt out – and that empathy sits at the heart of everything she offers.

Her journey is a lovely reminder that sometimes the most meaningful businesses grow from the moments when we choose to listen to ourselves.
