Two weeks ago, I totally pushed myself out of my comfort zone and drove to Wales for the Wild and Free Retreat, run by the wonderful Rosie Farrer and Becky Palmstrom.
I was petrified! Firstly, I’ve never driven for 6 hours entirely alone in the car. Secondly, I didn’t know anyone on the retreat. My mind was screaming at me; “what were you thinking? Spending 3 days with a bunch of ladies whom you’ve never met before, feels really icky”
But. What an incredibly transformative experience ???? Rosie and Becky are incredible life coaches, there were many poignant moments of self-reflection, aha moments, and guidance so we can take these realisations home, to use and make changes in life for the better.
So it turns out that hanging out with a wonderful bunch of women, who were strangers initially, but are now firm friends, is incredibly empowering❤️ I mean, who knew that starting every morning with yoga and tai chi, followed by walks along some of the most dramatic coastline in Wales, with visualisations, transformative life coaching, followed by amazing food (gluten-free crumble…get in!) would be such a beautiful combination?
Honestly, I urge anyone thinking about doing a life coaching retreat to take the plunge and put yourself out of your comfort zone, I’m so pleased I did ❤️
