You love what you do. You just can’t bear to put yourself out there.
If you’re a holistic therapist, a designer, an artist, a photographer, a solo founder doing your thing because you genuinely love it, this is for you!
You started your business because you’re brilliant at the actual work. The treatment. The design. The photograph that makes someone cry a little bit. That’s the reason. Not because you fancied a lifetime of captions, reels and working out what on earth the algorithm wants today.
And yet. Here you are, knowing full well that you should be showing up.
Everyone’s doing it. You’ve seen how it works. You know, deep down, that a reel of you actually doing your craft, or a post about how you fell into photography in the first place, or the honest little story about the real you behind the brand… you know that’s the stuff people would love. That’s what strengthens a brand. That’s what makes someone choose you.
But something stops you. Every single time.
The bit nobody warns you about
The truth is the block isn’t laziness, and it isn’t a lack of ideas. It’s that putting your face out there feels genuinely, physically uncomfortable. The video gets filmed and never posted. Negative Nelly pipes up right on cue: who do you think you are?
And it’s perfectly natural to feel like that. Working for yourself means selling yourself, your face, your voice, the real you, and that’s a big ask for someone who just wanted to do the work they love.
So you stay stuck. And stuck is not a good place to be, especially on the days when you scroll past everyone else apparently bossing it, and you don’t feel like you are.
That’s exactly why this workshop exists.
Introducing: The Confidence to Be Seen
I’ve teamed up with Kathryn Allen, an emotional intelligence coach, to run a workshop that tackles both halves of the problem, the head and the how.
Because I’m a firm believer that running a business on your own takes a big dose of positive mindset. Not the fluffy kind. The real kind that gets you through the wobbly days when comparison creeps in and confidence dips. That’s Kathryn’s world, and it’s the reason she’s part of this.
Here’s how the afternoon works….
Kathryn goes first, the inner work. She will take you through your values, your authenticity, and your confidence, and gently loosen the blocks that have kept you stuck. This is the bit that quietens the doubt and gets you out of your own head, so showing up starts to feel like your choice, not something to dread.
Then I take the baton, the how. I will show you why putting yourself out there matters more than ever, and, this is the important part, how much easier it gets once you actually start. I’ll break down the best way to get real interaction, taking you from ‘I would rather do anything than film myself‘ to a simple, gentle framework that builds you up at a pace that suits you. Not a leap. A gradual thing. Bit by bit, until one day you realise you’re just… doing it. Regularly. Without the dread.
Honestly, you will soon discover that showing up is the quickest way to celebrate your business. Once that clicks, you’ll want to do it more.
Then we do it. There and then. Using all the wonderful confidence that Kathryn’s uncovered for you and the know-how I’ve given you, and you’ll actually make something, in the moment, in a beautiful wildflower meadow, with the two of us right beside you.
Why now? Because everyone’s starting to sound the same
You’ve seen the ads. AI memberships that’ll write your social media for the next 30 days for £30 in 3 seconds flat.
It’s clever stuff…but… it all looks the same. Scroll for thirty seconds and you can feel it. Same phrases, same polish, same beige. In a sea of AI sameness, being unmistakably you matters more than it ever has. Your face, your voice, your story, that’s the one thing nobody can generate.
That’s what we’re going to help you find the confidence to share.
A little about me
I’m Gini. I’ve spent 20+ years in marketing, and these days I help solo founders and small businesses stop overthinking it and start sounding like themselves. I don’t believe in posting constantly. Let’s be honest, you built your business because you love your craft, not because you love marketing. So I teach you how to do less of it, not more. The right things, done in a way that suits you and your life, not your Instagram.
And a little about Kathryn
Kathryn Allen is the mindset half, and the reason you’ll leave lighter than you arrived. She’s an emotional intelligence coach based in Tunbridge Wells, and she’s brilliant at spotting the stuff that keeps us stuck. That Negative Nelly on your shoulder? Kathryn’s whole gift is quietening her, helping you step out of ‘fight or flight,’ out of your own head, and into a place where being seen feels safe.
She does the inner work. I turn it into marketing. Together, that’s the whole picture.
What you will walk away with
- Your first video, actually filmed on the day
- Your own voice, and the words that sound like you
- A simple, repeatable way to show up that fits your life
- A pocketful of content ideas you can use straight away
- And the confidence to press post!
You might walk in dreading the camera. But, you will walk out with content already made, and the nerve to keep going.
Come and be seen
The Confidence to Be Seen. Finding your inner voice and putting the real you out there.
One afternoon. A wildflower meadow at Caracol Glamping, just outside Tunbridge Wells. Just Kathryn, me, and 10 of you, small and personal on purpose.
If you’ve read this far, something in it landed. That’s your sign.
