Can I be honest with you for a minute?
I’ve been in marketing for over 20 years. CIM postgraduate trained. I’ve built brands, launched products, managed campaigns across FMCG, healthcare, and agencies. I run GiniB Digital and my own product business, Scrummy Cream. Marketing is, quite literally, my thing.
And I still know how hard it is to show up for your own business when you’re doing it largely on your own.
So this isn’t a blog post written from a whiteboard. It’s written from someone who is in it with you.
The thing I kept seeing – and couldn’t ignore
Working with small business owners across Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Kent, I kept meeting the same person.
Brilliant at what they do. Genuinely talented. Hardworking. Showing up. Trying.
And still feeling completely lost with their marketing.
Not because they weren’t smart enough. Not because they weren’t working hard enough. But because nobody had ever sat down with them and explained how it all actually fits together. The why behind the what. The framework underneath the tactics.
Without that foundation, everything feels like guesswork. And guesswork is exhausting.
The advice is everywhere. And it contradicts itself constantly.
Post every day. No, quality over quantity. Be on Instagram. Actually, TikTok is where it’s at now. Have you tried Pinterest? What about a newsletter? A podcast? A YouTube channel? Have you thought about SEO?
No wonder so many brilliant business owners end up doing nothing. Or posting something, hearing silence, and quietly deciding marketing just isn’t for them.
It’s not you. It never was.
Why I couldn’t just keep saying no
For a long time, I helped people one-to-one. I loved it. Still do. But there’s only so many hours in a day, and I kept having to turn people away – people I genuinely wanted to help, who I could see were so close to getting it, who just needed the right support in the right format.
I didn’t want to build another online course that people buy with good intentions, open twice, and quietly abandon. I’d seen too many of those.
What I wanted to build was something that felt like a proper community. Like learning alongside people who get it. Like having someone in your corner who’s actually done this – and is still doing it.
So I built The Marketing Mix Lab
Eight weeks. Small group. Structured lessons you can work through in your own time, plus a live Q&A call with me and your cohort every single week. A private WhatsApp group where I’m genuinely on hand throughout. And a community of local business owners cheering each other on — because honestly, that part is worth its weight in gold.
It’s built around real life. School runs, client work, the actual business — I know you’re juggling it all. The Lab fits around that, not the other way around.
And it’s built around understanding, not just doing. Because once marketing makes sense — once you understand your goals, your audience, your messaging — the tactics stop feeling overwhelming. They become choices you can make with confidence.
That moment when it clicks? When someone says “ohhhh, I finally get it”? That’s my favourite thing. That’s exactly why I built this.
The April cohort is open today
If you’ve ever thought I should really sort my marketing out – this is your moment.
The Marketing Mix Lab is £250 for 8 weeks of clarity, community, and marketing that finally makes sense. The April cohort doors are open right now.
You deserve marketing that works for your business and your life. I’d love to help you get there.
